Supporting local families,
building community.
Who we are
Stroud District Kids Stuff is a social enterprise at Brimscombe Mill. . We are a part of The Stroud Grace Network, which includes Home Remedy, The Bike Drop, and The Long Table.
Our Vision
We want every family to thrive as they go through life’s journey.
We want to build a sense of belonging, sharing and community
and show that raising a family doesn’t need to cost the earth.
We do this by creating a circular economy where families in the Stroud District pass us their preloved children’s items to be sorted and reused by families in need of support, families with restricted budgets and families that choose recycled items to reduce their impact on the environment.
Our Mission
Supporting local families
Our mission and aim is to provide support for the children and their families in our district. We want to provide family centred employment that empowers our staff to improve their current situations by offering flexible working opportunities that support them in their personal lives and the lives of their families.

How we build community
At Kid Stuff we believe that children and grown ups all need somewhere to socialise to build community.
At Brimscombe Mill you will find our playarea for the under 5’s. This space is for families to use whilst the mill is open.
The cloister area is used to host a variety of craft, activities and community events aimed to bring families together.
